🌟 Preparation:
If you want to photograph the preparation process, it’s crucial that the area is clean and tidy. I’ll try to remove as much clutter as possible using editing programs, but not everything can be removed. Suitcases on the floor, food scraps, trash, etc. will look unsightly in photos. The preparation area is usually small, dimly lit, and filled with family and friends helping out. Therefore, it’s important to prepare the area in advance to ensure the best possible photos.
🌟 Guests with cameras:
At some weddings, family members or friends also enjoy taking photos with their cameras. During the day, my job will be to take key photos and capture the most important moments without interruption. If necessary, I’ll personally organize the space and politely ask that no one interfere during key moments. This way, everything runs more smoothly, and I guarantee that the final images will be clean, natural, and beautiful.
🌟 Guests with cell phones:
These days, it’s very common for guests to take videos or photos with their cell phones, especially during the ceremony. I understand that this is an exciting moment, and many want to preserve their memories. However, when several guests stand in front of the photographer to take photos or videos, this can complicate the photographer’s work and impact the final result. Therefore, if possible, I ask that you give your guests advance notice so they can enjoy the moment without constantly getting up to check their phones and take photos and videos with it. I know it’s not always easy to supervise everything that happens on the day, but this small gesture significantly helps the process run smoothly and ensures your memories are captured beautifully. I will be attentive and, if necessary, politely ask for your cooperation to ensure a natural and respectful experience.
🌟 Shade for the ceremony:
When choosing a location for the ceremony, please choose a shady spot. Bright light, especially at midday, is very challenging for photography. It’s also a good idea to have the same lighting conditions for everyone: either everyone in the shade or everyone in the sun (the couple and guests).
🌟 Tell me everything important.
Before every wedding, we have a call with you to discuss the details. It’s crucial for me to know the entire process and every important moment. I’m always attentive, but there are situations when I need to prepare in advance to make sure I don’t miss anything. It’s also crucial to discuss any special lighting conditions, such as fireworks, flashes, lighting effects, complete darkness, etc. Technically, I need to anticipate these situations. If you also send me a schedule in Excel (or another format), that would be ideal for a clear understanding of what’s happening at every moment.
🌟 And finally:
Enjoy your day, your family, and your friends. Forget about your phones, your cameras… forget that I’m even there! I’ll make sure to capture the most important moments naturally, without pressure. And if at any point I need to remind you that I’m here for couples or group photos, I will. The most important thing is for you to remember that this day is a day of love, emotions, kisses and hugs, smiles and tears of happiness. ❤️❤️❤️
